About me
Kamel Madi received his Ph.D in Computer Science, in December 2016, form University of Claude Bernard Lyon 1 (France) and LIRIS laboratory (France), under the supervision of Prof. Hamamache Kheddouci and Dr. Hamida Seba. He received a Master’s degree in Computer Science, specialty: Engineering of Artificial Intelligence at University of Montpellier II (France). During his PhD, he was a visiting researcher for six-months at University of Ottawa (Canada) and the National Research Council Canada CNRC (Ottawa), hosted by Prof. Dr. Eric Paquet. Currently, since September 2016, Kamel Madi is Temporary Teacher and Researcher in Computer Science at University of Jean Moulin Lyon 3 - iaeLyon (France) and LIRIS laboratory in the research group Graphs, AlgOrithms and AppLications (GOAL). His research interests lie in graph based approaches for 2D and 3D Pattern Recognition. His main research specialty is about 2D and 3D Pattern Recognition, object recognition and deformable object recognition; based on graph techniques: graph matching, graph edit distance, graph decomposition and graph based modeling. He is the author of publications in international journals and conferences. He also developed several tools using different languages (Java, C/C++, Matlab, etc.) ensuring a complete process for 2D and 3D Pattern Recognition (extraction, representation and classification).
