Personal Information

I was born and grew up in Southern Italy, a few km away from Mediterranean sea. It is a very sunny and warm place almost all the year long.

An English sentence that I like a lot (by T. Roosevelt):
It is not the critic who counts, not the man who points out how the strong man stumbled, or where the doer of deeds could have done better. The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena; whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood; who strives valiantly; who errs and comes short again and again; who knows great enthusiasms, great devotions, who spends himself on a worthy cause; who at best knows in the end the triumph of high achievement; and who at the worst if he fails, at least fails while daring greatly, so that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who know neither victory nor defeat.
An Italian sentence that I fancy (by L. Pirandello, a sicilian writer, in his book entitled Il Fu Mattia Pascal):
Intanto, questo, - egli mi dice: - che fuori della legge e fuori di quelle particolarità, liete o tristi che sieno, per cui noi siamo noi, caro signor Pascal, non è possibile vivere.
