Biography
I am an Associate Professor (“Maître de Conférences HDR”) at University Claude Bernard Lyon 1 and LIRIS laboratory in the Origami team. My teaching takes place in the IT department of the University Institute of Technology of Lyon1. My main research focus is Procedural modeling, Natural Phenomena, Simulation.
The central theme of my research activities concerns the implementation of automatic techniques to create realistic 3D natural and / or urban scenes. Currently, projects involving the creation of complex scenes require extremely long, tedious and expensive manual editing. The objective of my work is to propose new representations allowing to model realistic scenes with a high level of detail and to define increasingly vast territories automatically to reduce production costs.
