About me

I got the M.S. degree in Applied Mathematics from Dnipropetrovsk National University, Ukraine in 2010, the M.S. degree in Cryptography and Information Security from University Bordeaux 1, France in 2012 and the Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from the University of Montpellier, France, in 2015. My research was focused on the development of solutions for printed document protection. I am a principal author of the patent about novel two-level QR code that is sensitive to a duplication process and can store a big amount of information.

I acted as a post-doctoral researcher at the Laboratory L3i of Université La Rochelle, France, where I explored the hybrid document protection. I also worked as a post-doctoral researcher at the Laboratory Hubert Curien of Université Jean Monnet, Saint-Etienne, France, where I was focused on anti-counterfeiting solutions for protection of medical packaging.

Currently, I am an Associate Professor at Institut de la Communication, Université Lumière Lyon 2 and researcher at LIRIS. I am a co-head of franko-ukrainian Master program IDSM as well. I am acting as a member of Listening unit of LIRIS and a member of Council of ICOM.

My research interests include multimedia security, document protection using security printing techniques, hybrid document integrity check, machine learning for security, image and video forensics, image and signal processing and cryptography.

Currently, I am the PI of FuzzyDoc project (funded by GDR-ISIS) and the principal collaborator of FakeNets project (funded by FIL).

The special session on "Forensics and Security of Physical Objects" at the 13th IEEE International Workshop on Information Forensics and Security 2021 will take place on December, 10th, 2021. Joint us in person in Montpellier or remotely !
