Encadrants:
Noura Faci (noura.faci@univ-lyon1.fr) Hamamache Kheddouci (hamamache.kheddouci@univ-lyon1.fr)
Description en français
Figure 1: Aperçu global de l'approche
Description in english
Title: Storytelling perspective for Internet of Things
We tap into the storytelling to introduce the concept of Process of Things (PoT) as a new way of integrating IoT into business processes. PoT development revolves around 3 stages: preparatory that handles (real and digital) thing readiness in terms of mapping, description, and connection, design that handles script definition, and finally shooting that handles scene management in terms of set-up, operationalization (put into action), and enrichment. The chronology of performing these stages is illustrated with Figure 1.
In this project, the work consists of developing a Web application for the management of the ecosystem of things. The application provides:
For this project, the Bevywise IoT simulator (www.bevywise.com/iot-simulator) and real devices could be used for the detection step.
More details will be given during the interview with the student applicants.
