EOLE

Physics-based simulation of aeolian landforms, between cellular automata and computer graphics.

EOLE — key visual (16:9)

EOLE studies aeolian processes in the context of climate change, particularly in desert regions where aeolian landforms act as important environmental indicators.

The project reproduces these landforms by combining physics-based cellular automaton models with simulation-based computer graphics techniques. The aim is to bring together emergence mechanisms and long-term dynamics on one side, and the realism of computer-generated 3D scenes on the other, so that a single visual solution satisfies both physics and realism across scales.
